The late Lord Strathcona's personalty in Britain r.nd abroad has been sworn at £4,650,402, and the reality is estimated at another £1,000,000.
The, death duties on the estato amount to £837,833.
The value of the shares held by him included tho following:— £1,321,000 in tho United States Great Northern Railway, £822,000 in tho Canadian-Pacific Railway, £676,000 in the Northern Pacific Railway, £248,000 in tho Hudson's Bay Company, and £129,000 in the Bank of Montreal.
