LONDON, May 27.

The annual meeting of the Victoria League was held in' the Guildhall. Sir George Reid, the Hon. T. Mackenzie, the Agents-General, and Sir John Madden were present. Lord Curzon saW the League was doing a greater work thantne Parliament and the Fleet in holding together the scattered units of Empire, fle thought the material forces holding the Empire were precarious and chaotic. The only force on which, they could rely was the sense of brotherhood. •
