The robels at Kavalja expelled the Government officials, hoisted the Turkish riag, and proclaimed Essad Pasha.
Kin-; William visited the outposts and later lode to Schiak to confer with the insurgents.

Duraszo
The Vienna Press severely criticises the King's precipitate flight before a horde of insurgent peasants, and suggests that his timorousness has seriously compromised his sovereignty.
