A very pleasant serial gathering took nlacein th'e Cororation Hall, last evening, to bid good-bye to Mr and Mrs J. Sutoliffe who have been residents hi»re for forty "ears, aid ore leavimr the district. Mr A. Mcintosh was in tho. -•hair. On behalf of. the residents of Southbrook. Mr T. J. Withers presented Mr Sutoliffe with a Kainnoi ru? and a mounted barometer. Several vocal and instrumental items were given.
