Pearce. Mr H. C. Wilson was tho referee. Playing at Lyttelton, Old Boys dc- ' feated Lyttelton by 8 points to 6. Deans and Clayton scored tries for tho winners, one of which was converted by Blackmoro. For the losers, A. A. McGurty and W. Whitham secured tries. Linwood and Marists' played a drawn game on the North Park, each sido scoring 3 points. For Linwood Whitfield crossed the line, and Parker scored for Marist Bros. Mr A. Alexander was referee. Merivale defeated 'Varsity, playing on the latter's ground, by 9 points to 3. For tho winners, Gregg, Seater. and Lattimoro scored tries. Mr T. J.
