The committee decided to recommend the appointment of Miss Peel to the position. In order to fittingly celebrate tho birthday of his Mxiesty the King, it was agreed that the school children should meet at 9.30 a.m. on the 23rd inst., ts-ith tho local bodi-ee. including the Brighton Marine Band. Two or three prominent residents are to be asked to give suitable addresses, and the Mayor, it was stilted, was trying to arra__e that the local Cadets and Territorials should also be present.
