NORFOLK'S OUTWARD CARGO.
After being delayed on account of the wet weather, the Federal and Shire liner Norfolk, which is the third vessel to leave New Zealand in the recently inaugurated service to Boston and New York, got away from Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon with a largo carpo beneath her hatches. Most of the loading, however, was taken in along the Australian coast, the only other New Zealand port called at in addition to Lyttelton being Waitara, although the cargo lifted hero included transhipments from various Dominion ports. Following is a summary, of the vessel's Lyttelton loading:—For New York: One truss rugs, 100 cases preserved meats, .854 cases kauri gum, 64 sacks gum, 153 sacks peas, 17 sacks fescue, 25 dumr-s aheeni-ins.
