Notwithstanding, there was a good gathering of parishioners present. The report and balance-sheet showed that Church matters had greatly improved during tho year. A debit balance of £20 had been changed into a credit balance of £5 10s 3d. The vicar (Rev. F. B. Redgrave) stated that a Sunday school was being started, beginning with a roll of about twenty children. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Bishop's warden, Mr Geo. Witto; people's warden, Mr J. Willan; vestry, Messrs H. Arnst, I. Champion, A. H. Davis, — St anbury, E. Witte, and Hon. R. H. Rhodes. A motion was unanimously passed in favour of the Bible-in-Schools League. After the meeting a very enjoyable social gathering was held.
