WRIGHT, STEPHENSON AND CO., LTD.

Tho eighth annual meeting of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., was held at Dunedin on Thursday, and was well attended by shareholders. Tho net profit for tho year ended March 31st, 1914, was £30,292 10s 2d, which, together with tho amount brought forward from last year, made tho balance at tho credit of profit and loss account £50,902 16s sd. Out of this amount it'was decided to place £7500 to tho reserve, bringing it up to £40,000, and after making a fixed payment of 5§ per cent, on tlio preference shares, to declare a dividend of 7 per cent, for the year on the ordinary shares, leaving a balance of £22,939 12s 5d to be carried forward. HEessrs W. D. Hunt and D. Allan, tho retiring directors, were re-elected, and Messrs Barr, Leary and Co. were re-elected auditors for tho ensuing year.
