Hβ gave a. superb display, Weaver being 7 down at the turn. Gillks did 5 holes in fours and 4 holes in thieea. Ho could have done tho eixth hole in two, but feared a etymie. At tho eighth hole he hit tho back of the pin with his firet putt. Agaicst Gillies, Graham turned one ' up, Gillies wae level at the tenth, but wan two down at the sixteenth.
