MEWS OF SYDNEY EXPERTS. (By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received May 22nd, 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. May 22. There was a representative gathering of wino merchants and others, including the Government expert, at the New Zealand Government bureau, to test samples of the 1909-10 vintago of light wines produced at tho Government experimental vineyard at Waerenga, New Zealand.

Mr Blow, New Zealand Government Agent, in liis introductory remarks, said ho looked forward to tho timo when there would bo reciprocity between Australia and New Zealand, and wino would be amongst the products covered.

Experts expressed tho opinion that tho wines were good in body, but were capablo of improvement as regards blending and finish." New Zealand should bo an ideal champagne country. Tho trade could bo mado a successful one .by careful handling and the selection of districts and vines. It would bo interesting to test samples from other districts.
