A meofcing of the HalsweU Domain Board was held on Tuesday. Present— Messrs Pateruon (chairman), McDrury, McGough, Bird, and Ferguson. An account for cutting fences, grubbmg gorse, and cleaning drains (£8 4s) was passed for pavmeut. An apology vras received from Mr 11. Amyes for his absence. It was resolved to uavo tho portion known as the old shingle pit filled in and levelled, the bank of tho drain in the throe-acre portion to "be removed and used for filling. The County 'Council is to be asked to dump any road scrapings or suitable filling it may have in the low portion near Miln's gate. It was resolved tliat tho County Council be asked to clean tho grass off tho back of the footoath along th& road-fenca in front of the Domaiu.
