LINCOLN.
Tho annual meeting of parishioners of' St. Stephen's Church, Lincoln-, was bold at the Druids' Hall. Thero was a attendance of parishioners present. The Rev. Mr Redgrave presided. Tho report and balance-sheet wero read by the people's warden, showing that tho church was in a. flourishing- condition. Tho following were appointed officers for the ensuing year:—Vicar's warden, Mr W. H. Cropp; people's warden, Mr W. Bartram; Vestry, Messrs Cookson. Gray. Jennings, C Howell, J. Hutchison, C. Murray, and Dr. Hilgendorf. Special votes of thanks wero passed to Mr Cookson,-or-ganist, the Parochial Association, Church decorators, Gleaners' Union, and other workers. After the business was concluded a "social" took place, when the following assisted: —Mesdames Crump, "Redgrave, Bartram, Misses Taylor (2), Bartram (3), Messrs McKcnzie. Paulsen, Bradfield. Terry, Cookson. Musgrave. and Mastor J. Graham and Stoddart. Various games ■were played and dances held at intervals. The supper •provided by the ladies was all that could be desired. Altogether tho function was most enjoyable.
