RANGIORA CLUB.
The annual meeting of the tennis section of the Rangiora Bowling, Tonnis and Croquet Club was held on . Wednesday evening, Mr E. R. Good presiding.
Tho annual report stated that' the section had had a fairly successful season, but there had been 'difficulty 'in arranging matches with the city and suburban clul;s owing to players engaged in club competitions. All matches, but one against outside teams wero won by Rangiora.
The following offioers were elected:—Chairman, Mr E. R. Good; secretary, Mr C. M." Pinfold; committee, Misses Scott/ Jennings, and Mehrlcns, and Messrs W. H. Garton and W. Allison; delegates to tho club's general committee, chairman, and eccretary; selection committee, Messrs Barton, Pinfold, and Allison. An afternoon tea committeo was appointed. It was decided to request the general committee to havo tho ends and sides of the court asphalted. It was also decided to hold a tennis dance, and a committee was appointed to make tho arrangements. ,
