METHVEN.
(SX-BCUr to "the prbss.") METHVEN, May 21. Rain commenced to fail at Aiethvcu at 10 o'clock last night, and, after t a heavy downpour for some timo, snow started to fall, and this rooming tho ground was colored to a depth of about two inches in the township. Tho hills havo also got a heavy, coating. This change in tbo weather is almost sure to be succeeded by sharp frosts. Tho weather during the last few days has been good, plenty, of sunshine during the day and frost at night. Farmers are complaining that the frosts are cutting down tbe grass, and feed is getting scarce on several farms in tho district.
