REDUCTIONS UNIVERSALLY FAVOURED. (By Cable.—Frees Association.—Copyrtgnt.)
LONDON, May 19
France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Italy, Spain, and the United States favour a reduction in the international postage rates to three halfpence. Some countries, including Au*; tralia, favour a reduction to a penny, though the majority prefer to test the three halfpence, rate first.
