At the Health /Conference the Hon. T. Maokcnzio gave an address on "Workers' Homes in "New Zealand," detailing the scope and purpose of recent legislation.

..Mr Herbert Samuel, in outlining tho Government's . policy with regard to town-planning, eakl' town-planning must be made obligatory upon municipal authorities.. One hundred and ninetyone local authorities in Britain had already submitted plans for housing reforms, providing for 15,000,000 people when they were carried out. At the ; conference there were 170 overseas delegates. ■
