MR G. WITTY AT RICERATON.

In the Oddfellows' .Hall, at Riccarton. last evening, Mr vjporge Witty, M.P., delivered a political address to about eighty electors. Mr Charles Taylor acted as chairman. Mr Witty followed in his remarks tlie lines taken in his address at Papanui on Thursday last, and indulged in a general condemnation of the Government because of alleged lack of fulfilment of its pledgee in respect of financial "reform , , electoral reform, and general administration. Alter some questions had been answered, a vote of thanks to Mr Witty for his speech was unanimously carried. Confidence,.was also expressed in him as the member for tho district, and in the Liberal Party. •

Mr G. Witty, M.P..-will address tho electors of Riccarton in the schoolroom at Weedons on Saturday evening at eight o'clock.
