NEW PLYMOUTH, May 19. In tho Supreme Court to-day, William cle ■-Grojiclij , Ogier was found guilty on six charges of embezzling the funds .of the Inglewood Borough Council anil Moa Road Board, to which he had heon clerk for years. Tho amount of thft /ieialcatioiis wji s over £500. Ogior pleaded financial difficuJties due to drink. The jury recommended liim to nit-rev, on the ground that ho nad repaid the money. Sentence was deferred.
