The building trado is still brisk at Akaroa, and with the new buildings in prospect, promises to continue so during the winter months. In addition to the new post office, vicarage, and several private houses now being erected, tlie newly-formed Co-operative Butter Company intend calling tenders for tho erectiouot their new factory during tho current week. Apart from these, renewals and alterations aro # being madeto tho wharves, and plans a'ud specifications are being prepared for a boat slip at Akaroa and v new wharf at Robinson's Bay. At Duvauchello *■ public hall is tiearing completion, ami the Barry's Bay Dairy Company aro calling tenders for additions to 'their factory.
