COMMAND OF CANTERBURY DISTRICT.
Colonel V. S. Smyth, Officer Commanding tho Canterbury District, accompanied by Mrs Smyth and family, will leave by tho Ruahine, sailing from Wellington on Juno 4th, on a visit to England. He will be absent about twelve months, during which time Colonel R. A. Chaffey, V.D.j will act as Officer Commanding tho District.
General Sir lan Hamilton, InspectorGeneral of the Oversea Forces, will leave on his return to England by the New Zealand Shipping Company* steamer Ruahine.
Major J. S. Majdlow. AssistantDirector of Ordnanco and Instructor in Artillery Duties to tho Now Zealand Defence Forces, will leave for England by the Ruahine.
