The annual parishioners' meeting for Woodeiid was held in the Waii.uku Hall on Thursday evening, the Rev. •». Holland, vicar, presiding. Tho accounts showed receipts of about £144,
and a small debtor balance. The officers elected were:—Mr J. Hen.sbaw, minister's warden; Mr R. H. Stokes. parishioners' warden: and Messrs Jno. Petrie, G. Luisctti, R. MacDonald, H. King, R. Archc"., "W. On tier, anc] James Petrie, vestrymen. Tho question of erecting a' new schoolroom was discussed. The chairman referred to the great help received from Mr Ilenshaw as lay reader. On behalf of the parishioners Mr R. H. Stokes presented Mr K'cnshaw with a purse of sovereigns in appreciation of his services to the parish. Mr Henshaw was quite taken by surprise, but responded in appropriate terms, thanking his friends.
