DAIRY PRODUCE.
There is no change to report in dairy produce, supplies being up to requirements. Local prices are recorded as under:— Butter—Factory 13d, farmers' separator 9d to 9id, dairy B_d to 9d. Cheese—Factory 6Jd. dairy 6d, loaf 6Jd. Bacon—Sides 9_d, rolls 10_d. hams 12d. Honey—Extracted, 3d per lb. Eggs—l2d per dozen. ' FRUIT AND VEGETABLES. Heavy supplies of store fruit have been coming forward from Auckland, Nelson, and Teviot, and the demand has been good both for dessert and jam making. Apricots have been selling at 23d to 3Jd, peaches 2Jd to 3id, plums 2d to 2_d, and nectarines 3d. Cucumbers mako 5d to 6d per lb. Local tomatoes, hothouse grown, havo sold at'lOd to ls per lb. Local pears are now coming in and selling at 3s to os. and apples at 3s to 4s per case. Sydney pines 9s to passions 6s per case". Vegetables are in good supply, and no change in prices is reported.*
