WAIMATE.
Mr V. G. Day, S.M.. whose district now includes Waimate, on Tuesday took his seat for the first time on the Bench at tho Magistrate's Court at Waimate. Mr A. C. Middleton. in the absence of Mr Hamilton, welcomed Mr "Daj* to the Waimate district, and expressed the wish that his Worship would have a long and pleasant occupancy of the Waimate Bench. Mr Day thanked tbe Bar for the wtlcome.
