ABOLITION OF UPPER HOUSE.
(By Cabl*.—Prw« AwocUtioa.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 29. The Labour Conference resumed the discussion on the abolition of tho Upper House. Women delegates advocated placing several women in tho position of legislators. The Conference decided that tho names of all future nominees to the Legislative Council must bo submitted to the Central Executive of tho Political Labour League for endorsement, thus placing nominees to tho Upper Houso on the same footing as Labour Party candidates for tho Legislative Assembly.
