BUILDERS' LABOURERS.
TROUBLE BREWING IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, January 29. The injunction recently granted by the Chief Justice restraining the operation of the Builders Labourers' Federal award, which raised wages to eleven shillings a day, is causing unrest, which has been intensified by the action on tho part of some master builders in declining to continue paying the new rates. The secretary of the Builders Labourers' Union will not countenance any reductions in wages or alterations in the conditions laid down in th© Federal award. At a special mooting, tho executive was empowered to call a "stop worjc" meeting on Saturday, if necessary, to hear the report of representatives appointed Ito interview the employers.
