CULVERDEN.

(Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) E. S. Brown was charged with refusing to quit the Ferry Hotel, Upper Waiau. when requested to do so, also with obscene language and stone-throw-ing. Accused was fined 20s and 15s costs on the first charge, and 40s and 7s costs on each of the other charges. Florence Cullen was granted a separation order against her husband, James Cullen, nnd custody of the three children. Judgment was given for plaintiff by defanlt in Dr. W. Todd v. "W. Rowe, claim £1 ss, and costs 19s.
