ACTIVITY AT LYTTELTON.
After the quiet period experienced daring the past few days, the port of Lyttelton was a scene of activity yesterday morning, several steamers arriving within a few hours of each, other. Nearly two hundred and twenty men were signed on for work on the wharves, of which number about fifty were ex-strikers.
