MEETINGS AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS.
The adjourned half-yearly .mooting of the Star of Woolston Tent, No. 67, 1.0. Rechabitee, waa heid on Monday night, Bto. S. Dick presiding over a good attendance. The following officers were elected and installed: —€.R., Bio. C. T. North; D.R., Bro. K. Coburn; treasurer, Bro. H. Toit; eecretary, Bro W. G. Foster; L., Sib. P. Dyer; stewards, Si. C. Dyer and Bro. J. E. Round; G. ( Bro. "Wellesley; trustees, Bros. Holliday and Trcrise. A vieit was received from Bro. Morrison, on behatf of the Pride of Christchurch Tent, and bis challenge to all suburban tente in the dietrict to obtain more new members, on a percentage basis, wae accepted. After briefly outlining his echeme for tbe fraternising of the various tents, Bro. Harrison aeked for delegates to represent the Star of Woolston Tent at a conference called for Saturday night, and the following were appointed: Bros. North, HoLbday, Trerise, and Round. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal City of Norwich Juvenile Lodge, 1.0.0J, wae he.d on Monday, N.G. Bro. B. Toomey presiding over a fair attendance. P.G. Bro. Loader installed the following officers: — G.M., Bro. B. loomey; N.G., Bro. A. McCormick; V.G., Bro. W. Toomey; warden, Bro. T. Magille; secretary, Bro. McNeliie; Bro. P. Campbell; 0.G., Bro. D. Campbell; E.S. to N.G., Bro. Gflmoie; L.S W Bro. N. McCormack; R.S. to V.G., Bro. S. Millar; L.S. to V.G., Bro. P. Millar. N.G. Bro. A. McCormick offered a prize of 10s for he brother that introduced tho most Tnembeis during the term, P.G. Bro. Loader presented the retiring Grandmaster,' on behalf of the lodge, with a P.G.'a framed certificate. In oonnexion with tho Trinity Congregutional Church a combined Bible Cites "Social" was heJd in the Hall last evening. A programme of competitions, games, . and other items was thoroughly enjoyed by a fairly large number of members and friends. A number of new members were enrolled during the- evening, and the prospecte for the new cession, commencing on Sunday, February Ist, are very promising.
