In consequenco of harvest ther© was hot so large an attendance as usual at tho Rangiora market yesterday. Th© stock entry was 3000 sheep, of which wero fat lambs, 50 cattle and pigs. There was a decrease of a iarthing per lb in lambs, to com© into line with the British quotations. Prices were: — Best fat lambs 17s Gd to 19s Gd, lighter weights 16s 4d to 17s;-fat wethers, 19s 6d'to-20s'-6d;'fat owes, 15s to 18s 3d; best rap© lambs, ■'■ 14s 9d to 15s 2d; other 6tor© lambs, 13s to 13s lOd; two•tobth wethers, backward, -14s lb 15s; two-tooth three-quarterbred ewes, 20s. Cattle: Fat 6teers, £9; fat heifors. £7 to £8 10s; fat cows, £6 os to £7 10s; two-year-old steers, £5 10s; yearlings, £2 3s 6d; dry cows, £3 10s; springers, £8 to £9 12s 6d; milch cows, £6 to £7 10s. Pigs: Baconers, 58s to 655; stores, 25s to 355; and small pigs, 15s to 22s 6d. In the produce yards prices were:— Heavy crossbred sheepskins, 6s Gd ; medium, os 9d; lightor. 4s 6d; pelts, Is 8d; calfskins, 2s 6d; hides, 6_d lb; wool, 9d; fat, 14d. Poultry: Roosters, 5s a couple; hens, 2s 3d; ducks, "4s Cd; whole chick-wbeat 4s, broken 3s 3d; oats, 2s 6d, new feed oats 2s; barley, 3s 9d; peas, 3s 3d; beans, 3s, grassseed, 3s; sharps, 9s Gd sack; bran, os 9d ; pig-meal, 9s;. oatsheaf chaff, 3s Gd ; straw do., Is Gd; new potatoes, 3d lb; apples, 4s case; plums, 2d lb.
