DUNSANDEL.
Excellent weather now prevails in the Dunsandel district for harvesting and threshing operations. Reapin" is progressing steadily, and farmers on every hand are- busy stacking and threshing from the stook. So far, the yields here. have come up to expectations as regards barley. From appearances in the fields, yields of wheat »"d oats should be above tho average. Ihe oat crops on the Mead Settlement promise to be again very good this .season. The rain which fell last week has given the rape, turnip, and potato crops a very good appearance.
