"Wheat—The market is firm on account of higher American and Argentine markets and expected smaller world's shipments. A slight advance is asked, but there is a quiot demand; 35s 7£d has been asked, and 35s bid for Australian January-February shipment; 1700 quarters per sailer March shipment have been sold at 35s 9d. Tho wheat and flour afloat for tho United Kingdom ,is estimated at 2 505.000 quarters, and for tho Continent at'l (523,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments are 245,000, Pacific 2-5,000. Total to Europe for the week 1,155,000, and from. Australasia 416,000.
