The headquarters of the Federation were fixed at Sydney for the next four years. A new council, consisting of three New South Wales members, two each from Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia, and ono trom Tasmania, was elected. In the ovor.t of New Zealand reconsidering its decision to hold aloof from the federation, two additional delegates were appointed to represent the Dominion. Tho Conference asked Mr t - "»>. Coombes. representing Australia and New Zealand on tho International Olympic Committee. te attend the Congress at I'aris in June.. Tho Australian delegate to this Congress will bo instructed to ask ior a reduction of tho number of competitors renrceenting a nation, a more equitable allotment of points for the different events, no minimum ago for competitors*, and the inclusion ot boxing, wrestling, and open boat sailing on tho standard programme.
