» "A NATIONAL MENACE." (By Cable.—Preee Association—Copyright.) NEW YORK, January 25. A report from Itouglas, Arizona, states *hat an official decree barring Chinese as a. national menace has been issued by General Carranza, leader of the Mexican Constitutionalists. Tho Sonora State Gcvernment has prohibited Chines© living in that State from changing their residences, or from entwing the State. Ciineso merchants are appealing to the Chinese Ambassador at Washington to secure redress.
