Cartridge cases found near the body were of an old pattern, being filed to fit a modern weapon. Experts say the cartridges were made abroad. The police aro searching for Rceks's companion, T. H. Ramsden, of Chicago. They appeared to be close friends, and Ramsden apparently went to Leeds on Monday, Reeks bidding him farewell at the station.
