A LUCRATIVE BUSINESS. (TuaW-Sydney "Sun" Special Cable.) NEW YORK, January 23. Jack Johnson's attorney, in appealing in the Chicago Courts against liis client's conviction, declared that Johneon was being unjustly persecuted while the real white slave traffickers were immune. Two thousand girls, he said, were introduced into America yearly, one promoter making an income of £20,000 per annum from the traffic.
