MORE " TRIUMPH " VICTORIES. The noteworthy feature of last Saturday's beach racing at New Brigton was the - consistent and unanimous manner, so to speak, in which the Triumph riders beat all other single-cylinder competitors, putting up the fastest singlecylinder times in each event. In the 16 Miles Handicap, G. B. Brown was placed second and made fastest singlecylinder time, 17min 53s*c. In the 24 Miles Race. F. Haworth was placed first and covered the distance in the remarkably fast time of 25min 36sec, the fastest single-cylinder time. C. Bonnington was second, covering tho distance in 28min Bsnc, a very fine performance for a 15-stone rider. G. B. Brown gained second fastest single-cylinder t ; me in this event. In the Eight Mile Side-car event, F. Haworth »vas placed second, and made fastest single-cylinder time, lOtnin 29 1-osec, .being only beaten on time by a 5-6 h.p. twin cylinder machine by the narrow margin of 5 l-ssec. G. B. Brown ran into third place and made second fastest single-cylinder time —llmin 16sec. The new Triumphs are now to hand, ex Corinthic and Remuera. and orders can be promptly filled. The above performances are sufficient, even if they were not tho last of a long, long, h'ne of similar successes, to demonstrate the truth of our claim that the Triumph for speed, power, efficiency, and reliability, is unequalled by any other 3J h.p. single cylinder machine on the market. The side-car performances speak for themselves regarding thp suitability of the singleovlinder Triumph for this class of work. Call and inspect the latest models.
