Playing in the Ellesmero competition at Irwoll on Saturday, Dunsandcl defeated the homo team by 49 runs. Scores:—Dunsandel 98 (T. Jamieson 53 not out, P. Chamberlain 18, T. E. Owers 10), Irwell 49 (A. Moreland 16). For the visitors T. Jamieson took four wickets for 5 runs, and-G. Norman five for 39 runs. B. Coe and A. Moreland bowled best for Irwell. . Playin" , at Southbridge, Little Rakaia defeated Lincoln College. This is the first match that the College team has lost this season.
