Vote-splitting in both parties, but more particularly on the Liberal side, completes the issue of the second ballots, which are anticipated in some eight electoratesBuilding their hopes on the result of the last Federal election, the rift caused by tho formation of Mr Beeby'e new party, the support of the Country Party, and the gwing, to some extent, of the Catholic vote, the Liberals anticipate a victory. The Labour Party, howerer, confidently relies on its excellent organisation. Whichever eide wins, the majority is not likely to bo large.
