Kaiapoi continued tiioir match against Sefton at Sefton. Sefton made 137 (Judd 54, S. Smith 31, Thompson 27, E. Smith 20) and 56 (E. Smith 17). Kaiapoi made 265 (J. H. Blackwell 106, Stanton 60. G. Green 31, H. Rollinson 25 not out, A. Rollinson 17), thus winning by an innings and 72 runs. The bowlers for Sefton wore Judd and E. Smith, and for Kaiapoi J. Wilson and A. Rollinson. In their second innings versus. Woodend Juniors, at Woodend, Kaiapoi mad© 118 (J. Drummond 29, C. Rollinson 27 not out), and Woodend 73 (L. Barrett 31. L. Archer 16). The result of the match was a three-point win for Kaiapoi. For Woodend L. Smith took three wickets for 21, and L. Archer three wickets for 17. For Kaiapoi C. Merrin took six wickets for 34 and G.
