East Christchurch met Sydenham on Saturday. East battwd first (Merphet 22, Thompson 10). Arnold four wickets for no runs bowled best for Sydenham. Sydenham's best scorers were Perdon 17. Fitzsimmons 24, Davis 31. Hickonbottom 13). Thompson bowled best. On going in again East made 109, (Bfcocroft 136. Merfitt 3). St. Bede's 143 for seven wickets, Linwood 72 and 48. For St. Bede's Khouri 40, McLaren 23. Riordan 33. Kingan 10. For Lin-wood Bryan 19, Woodham 16, Kirk 22. A three-point win.
