' The noteworthy feature of last Saturday's beach racing at New Brigton was the consistent and unanimous manner, so to 6peak, in which the Triumph riders beat all other single-cylinder competitors, putting, up the fastest singlecylinder times in each event. In tho 16 Miles Handicap, G. B. Brown was placed second and made fastest singlecylinder time, 17min 53sec. In the 24 Miles Race, F. Haworth was placed first and covered tho distance in the . remarkably fast time of 25min 26sec, the fastest single-cylinder time. O. Bennington was second, covering the distance in 2_min Bsec, a very fine performance for a 15-stone rider. G. B. Brown gained second fastest single-cylinder timo in this event. In the Eight Mile Side-car event, F.
