At To'clock yesterday morning the big German cargo steamer Sturmfels, which is under charter to the U.S. and A. Line, arrived from New York viaAFay ports and' Wellington, and.berthed at No 4 wharf to discharge 700 tons of general cargo. The Sturmfels ie manned by German officers and Lascar seamen, and the latter were put on to work the cargo, a couple of gangs of new unionists also being engaged. The Ktoamer is making good progress with the discharging of her cargo, and is to sail to-day for Dunedin. COLLIERS DISCHARGING. The Union Company's collier Flora started discharging yesterday morning, one gang of new unionists being employed toland coal into trucks. Mcst of the ship's cargo is bunker coal, and will be held in reserve for steamers requiring supplies. The Karamu was discharging into a hulk yesterday. The Wcstport Coal Company's collier is discharging steadily, and has been considerably lightened.; CARGO BY THE RIMUTAKA. The .New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka, which sailed on Thursday, loaded the following cargo at Lyttelton for London:—lo,B23 boxes of butter, .754 crates of cheese, 3872 carcases of lamb, 2150 bales of wool, 375 sacks of seed s 186 sacks of peas, 5 casks of runners, two sheep-pens, one bale of hair, and 27 packages .of sundries. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera, and the Shaw, Savill and Albion- liner Corinthic, will both sail to-day, after landing 4000 tons of general cargo and loading a large quantity of wool, butter, cheese and other produce. The Remuera will complete loading at Napier and Wellington, and the Corinthic at Auckland, Gisborne and Wellington. TRANSHIPMENTS FROM MONTREAL. The Union Company's steamer Kaiapoi loaded the Lyttelton and Dunedin cargo ex the Tokomaru from Montreal at Wellington. The Kaiapoi is duo here -to-morrow or on Monday to land 482 tons of cargo. FULL COASTAL CARGOES. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company's steamer Breeze, which sailed yesterday afternoon for Picton and Wanganui, took a full cargo, and was loaded nearly down to her Plimsoll mark. The Storm was coaling yesterday afternoon, and will probably load to-day for Southern ports. The Wootton left shortly after mid-day -with a full cargo for Wellington.. AN AMERICAN VISITOR. After a passage of gixty-two days from Puget Sound, the American fourmasted schooner Bainbridge arrived off the Heads yesterday morning, and was towed into port during the afternoon. ■ She has a full cargo of about 700,000 feet of Oregon'pine for dis:hargo at Lyttelton, ana, like most ships of her class, carries a large pro-" portion of it stacked in -an' enormous deck load. The Bainbridge will'berth, at'the Gladstone Pier on Tuesday next,' when a berth will be available. . ■ MARERE SAILS FOR DUNEDE*; The Tyser line steamer Marere, which anchored; in the on Thursday" morning to wait ' until- a berth became vacant at Ihinedin, sailed shortly after yesterday.
