MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
(?niBS ASSOCIATION TKLESRAM.) WELLINGTON, December 5. Aβ the result of & cable from the San Francisco police, on thp arrival of tho Tahiti a passenger was arrested on a special warrant issued under the Extradition Act on suspicion of boing identical with 4 man named Henry A. Brune, who is accused of committing forgery. Later. Scherer, the man who was arrested on the arrival of tho Tahiti, was discharged from custody, as tho San. Francisco police advised that there was some doubt as to whether he was tho man wanted.
