Th© Union Company despatches the Maunganui, not th© Manuka, to Wellington on Saturday. The wharf labourers at Newcastle have declined to unload the barque Wanganui, which has a cargo of New Zealand timber. The Maunganui has sufficient coal on board to enable her to make the return voyage to New Zealand. The crew of th© Tofua havo given twenty-four hours' notice.
