HALSWELL.
At a meeting of the Halswell Sports Club on Wednesday it was decided to erect a substantial post and rail fence round the trotting track in the Recreation Ground, which will bo a great improvement on previous years. The committee also decided to erect a stand whore competitors and the general public will bo able to tie their horses 6afely.
