AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.
(PEES- -SSOCIATION _______U-.) AUCKLAND. December 4. Unfavourable climatic conditions have continued into the fourth day of the Auckland Exhibition, and the greater degree of enthusiasm, which may reasonably be anticipated, remains deferred. StUl undaunted, however, the officials responsible-for the success of the undertaking are fastening tht'ir hopes on brighter days to come, at the same time pointing out that under the circumstances the attendances bave been very satisfactory. The official estimate of the number present on the first three days gives a total of 33,000, and out of "this number 18,000 paid at the gates, the remainder consisting of season ticket-holders, etc. Last night an amateur athletic meeting was held in the cricket ground adjoining the Exhibition, and to-day an art flower -how is being held in the concert hall.
