RECOMMENDATION TO NEW ZEALAND EMPLOYERS.
Mr Hughes considers that the conference recommendation which was cabled to the New Zealand Employers' Federation is eminently reasonable and practicable for a settlement* of tbe dispute in New Zealand, where it arose. A conference representing tbe various unions interested had pledged itself to loyally abide by the decision of the proposed independent arbitrator, the men to resume normal working conditions as soon as an arbitrator was appointed.
