(PRESS ASSOCIATIOK TELEGBAM.) ~ AUCKLAND, December 2,' Cyril Bridgens and 'Inomas J . Sheehan, who were driving a motor milk vanfroffl town, were run down by a train at '* level crossing in Newmarket. The van was smashed to matchwood; has a broken leg and other injuries, bm Sheohan a broken arm and severe and face wounds. Both were removed to the hospital. Their injuries »« Jw» regarded as likely to prove fatal. Too accident occurred at a very dangerous place, where approaching trains ere not visible until a person is within a very short distance. It is stated that the whistle was blown. Bridgens «a Sheehan evidently did not hear it. A married man named H. Gaklor, * Union Company's employee, fell irOT* a ladder on the King's wharf «*» morning. He was ■ admitted to Mc hospital immediately, suffering from concussion of the brain. His condition is regarded as serious. - WANGAKUI, December 3. A young man named BeguwW t».
