Owing, however, to the action of two of the candidates (one of whom' must be getting tired of his Repeated failures to" gain the public favour) and their -undiluted egoism, the result will probably be greatly in favour of a; presentative of the lawlessness and chaos we have so recently experienced., >Itis not too late for the two gentlemen, who have not the'slightest chance lof election, to withdraw and prove'thafc their personal ambition and seU-plqn-fication are subservient to the welfare i and honour of their country. ■■'':■'• ■:? ,''=.
